Water baptism is a powerful and joyful step of obedience for every believer in Jesus Christ. It is a public declaration that a person has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and has chosen to follow Him. During our baptism services, we celebrate the transforming work of God in the lives of those who have committed their hearts to Christ.

Baptism symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-4).  As a person is lowered into the water, it represents dying to the old life of sin. Rising out of the water represents new life in Christ, filled with hope, freedom, and purpose.

Our baptism services are meaningful moments of worship, testimony, and celebration. Family, friends, and the church community gather together to witness and rejoice as individuals take this important step in their faith journey.

Baptism does not save a person; rather, it is an outward expression of the inward transformation that takes place when someone places their faith in Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience to Christ’s command and a testimony of a life made new by God’s grace.

Anyone who has personally accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and desires to follow Him is encouraged to be baptized. Before the service, candidates receive guidance about the meaning of baptism and what to expect during the ceremony.
